The Redbird football team is off to a great start to the season. Illinois State has continued its unbeaten streak at Hancock Stadium since the renovations last year and is a perfect 10-0 at home the past two seasons. The ‘Birds will look to stay unbeaten at home with two more games at Hancock Stadium in November.

Illinois State will look to solidify its playoff spot when it takes on Youngstown State November 8 and Southern Illinois November 22. Tickets are still available for both home games and can be purchased at GoRedbirds.com/Tickets, by calling (309) 438-8000, or at the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office located at the east entrance of Hancock Stadium.

The game against Youngstown State will be broadcast on ESPN3 and the game against Southern Illinois will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.

Thank you for this ISU update. My son Glenn Gesell, class of 1985, and myself Roy Gesell, 1959, will attend the Youngstown State and Southern Illinois football games. We were on the campus for the Eastern Illinois and South Dakota State games.
It is great to visit ISU. I grew up in Bloomington-Normal.
    Go Redbirds,
