The 10th annual Redbird Fan Fair is set for August 16 on the Illinois State campus, featuring a Redbird football scrimmage, carnival games, and music.
The fair will be from 2–4 p.m. at “The Plaza” between Redbird Arena and Horton Field House.
During the festivities, players and coaches from Illinois State’s 19 varsity sports teams will be on hand to assist in the various fair games and also sign autographs on a limited basis. All new Illinois State students are also urged to take part in a class photo opportunity, which will be taken on the turf at Hancock Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
The free event will be followed at 4 p.m. by the football team’s scrimmage at Hancock Stadium. Free parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in lots surrounding Hancock Stadium.
