Tim Longfellow will serve the College of Business (COB) as associate dean for the MBA and undergraduate programs, beginning July 1.

Longfellow will be responsible for providing leadership while driving excellence and quality in the MBA programs (traditional, Corporate MBA, and Chicago MBA) and the college’s undergraduate curriculum. He will have strategic responsibility for, and oversight of, the MBA programs, the COB core curriculum, and the COB interdisciplinary courses.

Longfellow will also work with the dean, the associate dean for academic programs and maintenance of accreditation, and the COB department chairs to provide leadership and direction for the college.

Longfellow, chair of the Department of Marketing since 1999, brings extensive leadership experience, administrative experience, knowledge of the curriculum, and an understanding of University processes to his new role within the College of Business. Through collaboration with the faculty and staff in the Department of Marketing, Longfellow has been instrumental in raising the profile of the department regionally and nationally.

Longfellow is highly respected throughout the University and has developed strong ties with many of the college’s partners.
