The Illinois Shakespeare Festival got off to a roaring start this summer with three main stage shows opening in three days in beautiful weather.

The 2013 season includes two Festival favorites (William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors and Macbeth), along with one new play for the whole family (Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins). Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings at the Theatre at the Ewing Cultural Center, along with additional matinee performances on the weekends in the Center for the Performing Arts Theatre (added this year).  The Festival continues until August 10.
