It’s tough to make it through your time here at Illinois State University without joining at least once student organization.

It doesn’t matter if you graduated in 1914 or 2014: Clubs and organizations are where many students meet their best friends and make memories that last long after graduation. Today, there are more opportunities than ever for student involvement, with 330+ registered student organizations (RSOs) on campus, including sports clubs, fraternal organizations, service, groups and more.

With some help from Milner Library’s Dr. Jo Ann Rayfield Archives, let’s take a look at some of our favorite photos of ISU’s student groups—then and now.

Learn more about current student involvement opportunities from the Dean of Students Office, or support the Division of Student Affairs with a gift.
