About the speakers

Frank DiLeonardi ’80, M.S. ’81
Frank DiLeonardi has been a leader in the human resource industry for 30 years. Having spent nearly his entire professional career with Towers Watson, he held many senior level positions over his tenure, including key roles in marketplace and account management leadership.

Today he is a coach for both executives and young professionals through his firm, Frank Advice LLC. He is also a certified trainer for C.F. Harding & Co., which assists professional service organizations with the coaching, training, and development of better business development practices.

DiLeonardi holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a master’s degree in organizational communication from Illinois State University. He serves on Illinois State’s Alumni Advisory Board for the School of Communication.

Alice M. Spann ’78
Alice M. Spann is an experienced human resources professional specializing in talent acquisition. In her 20-plus years in a variety of industrieshealthcare, consumer packaged goods, insurance, retailshe has distinguished herself as a results-oriented recruiter connecting high potential talent to key positions in an organization enabling critical business growth. Spann is currently working as a talent acquisition consultant at a major food and beverage company.

She also serves her alma mater, Illinois State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication, as a member of the Alumni Association board of directors and the president of the Illinois State University Black Colleagues Association.
