Play for the memories this semester with Campus Recreation’s Intramural program. Getting involved in some friendly competition is a great way to stay active and meet other Illinois State students in a fun environment.  The intramural schedule starts with a Kickoff event on August 22, with free lawn game tournaments starting at noon in front of the SFC.  Teams can form on site or pre-register for Spikeball, Bags, and KanJam.

You can also find out more information about the remainder of the Intramural schedule.  This semester’s intramural lineup also includes a variety of leagues and tournaments for men’s, women’s or corec teams.  Choose from campus favorites such as flag football, volleyball, and soccer or check out one of our more unique offerings such as our Madden NFL or Dodgeball leagues.  While participation is the most important part of intramurals, t-shirts are awarded to champions in each sport across all divisions, giving participants the opportunity to “Earn The Shirt”.

“Intramurals are a great way to continue participating in your favorite sport or to try something new,” said Ed DeRoeck, Assistant Director of Intramurals. “Signing up is also easy to do through our online registration, whether you are creating your own team or signing up individually as a free agent.”
