The month of April is an exciting time in the Dean of Students Office as the Diversity Advocacy, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Student Involvement Center units all hold their awards ceremonies. These ceremonies recognize exceptional involvement from those at Illinois State.

The 26th annual Commitment to Diversity Awards Ceremony will be held Sunday, April 6, at 2 p.m. in the Old Main Room in the Bone Student Center. This ceremony will recognize students, registered student organizations, faculty, and staff who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to diversity.

The 2014 Student Involvement Recognition Ceremony will be held Sunday, April 13. Co-sponsored by the Student Involvement Center and the Student Alumni Council, this ceremony recognizes students, registered student organizations, and advisors for excellence in student involvement.

The annual Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 16, in the Bone Student Center. These awards recognize the members of Illinois State’s fraternal community who have challenged students to strive for excellence and become positive leaders on campus and in our community.
