The University Program Board (UPB) and Up Late at State offer many activities and opportunities for students to get involved in November. All the following events are free and open to all Illinois State students.

Illinois State Redbird Hockey vs. Missouri State: Support your ISU Hockey Team as they take on Missouri State November 7 at 5pm at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Admission, food from Avanti’s, and transportation will be provided. Students must register in advance in the UPB Office on the first floor of the Bone Student Center or by emailing upbspirit@IllinoisState.edu.

Trip Around the World: Grab your carry-on bag and passport as you enter this Trip Around the World!  Brought to you by Up Late at State and Diversity Advocacy, the event will be held 8–11 p.m. November 14 in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center. Travelers can learn the history of henna tattoos, make a piñata, create a mask for a Venetian masquerade, and more! Students can also sample various foods and drinks native to specific countries while they travel.

Murder Mystery Dinner: Join UPB to help solve a mystery and enjoy dinner at 6 p.m. November 14 in the Prairie Room of the Bone Student Center. Audience members will try to figure out who “murdered” a victim. The students will investigate and solve the mystery as the story progresses through a performance by an acting troupe. Students must register in advance in the UPB Office on the first floor of the Bone Student Center. Space is limited!
