Leadership and Community Connections will host its first Men’s Leadership Symposium from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. February 28 at the Alumni Center.

This symposium will offer great opportunities for males at Illinois State to gain new skills, learn new leadership approaches, share ideas, and network with students and professionals. The conference will include presentations from dynamic keynote speakers, guided breakout sessions, and roundtable discussions that examine male leadership in society.

Kyle Rindfleisch, specialist in Leadership and Community Connections, says the goal of the symposium is to discuss issues that future male leaders of our society are facing. Rindfleisch says the conference will educate students and allow them to “learn with other males in a safe environment about what it means to be a male in a leadership role.”

The symposium is free for Illinois State students, but registration is required. Transportation will also be available for students before and after the event, if needed.
