Cultural Immersion Trips are the newest initiative from Diversity Advocacy that occurs once a semester. The trips consist of a visit to an educational exhibit, museum, or event that immerses students in a daylong cultural experience. This semester’s trip will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at the Hindu Temple of Central Indiana in Indianapolis.

Participants will be led through a guided tour examining the history of Hinduism including its traditions, values, and religious practices. Following the tour, students will participate in discussion and reflection of their experience and an authentic Indian lunch.

This is a free event, and transportation will be provided. Applications are available and must be completed by March 16.
