This year the Civil Service Council will be selling tickets to Bloomington-Normal Day at Wrigley Field.

On March 16, the Civil Service Council began seeking nominations for new council representatives. You may self-nominate or nominate someone within your group. Keep an eye of the the Council website for listings of each group, how many seats are open for this election, who is eligible to be nominated, and where to find the form to make your nomination.

The Civil Service Council’s annual food drive begins April 1 and runs through April 30. Nonperishable, nonoutdated food items will be collected and donated to a local food pantry in Bloomington-Normal. Items most needed are canned meats, canned fruits, canned vegetables, boxed dinners such as Hamburger Helper, macaroni and cheese, Ramen noodles, peanut butter, rice—regular

In celebration of Founders Day on February 19, Campus Dining Services will offer faculty and staff discounts at both dining centers every Friday in February. Visit Watterson Dining Commons or the Marketplace at Linkins Center to enjoy all-you-care-to-eat lunch for $6.50 or dinner for $8.00, with your ID. The dinner price begins at 4:30 p.m.
