Illinois State University’s 153rd spring commencement was held the weekend of May 11 and 12, with each college holding its own ceremony. President Al Bowman spoke at each ceremony, as well as a student representative from each college. Approximately 3,667 students participated, with the total by college as follows.

  • Applied Science and Technology, 879 baccalaureate and 112 graduate degrees
  • Arts and Sciences, 1,221 baccalaureate and 279 graduate degrees
  • Business, 611 baccalaureate, 78 graduate degrees and 41 BS/MPA degrees
  • Education, 482 baccalaureate and 109 graduate degrees
  • Fine Arts, 174 baccalaureate and 58 graduate degrees
  • Mennonite, 93 baccalaureate and 19 graduate degrees
